About the Author

Yujin Chung is a senior of the class of 2022 at Wakefield School. She will be attending the University of Pennsylvania where she plans to study engineering. She chose to examine genetically modified food because through an experiment, she found that the non-GMO labeled food products contained GMO ingredients. She became interested in the effects of GMOs on the health and environment and how GMOs are regulated in the market.
